Do you do carryout??
The food is so good, big portions and quite inexpensive
My son took me here while I was visiting and it was delicious! The portions are more than generous. The atmosphere and customer service was friendly. I ate here several times and would go back many more if I were in Hawaii again! Great place!!!!!
MoreGreat place you have to try the tan tan noodled
Good portion for the price. Food is great! Love the lunch special of 1 mini ramen and a 2nd ( and 3rd if you're super hungry) mini dish
MoreTasty hot ramen in a warm atmosphere.
Good service , good people, good food..best place
Been here twice. The first time it took 40 minutes for our order. The second time our food came out in less than 10 minutes. Both times had about the same amount of people. The food is good, but nothing spectacular. We just learned that the hot pink in every dish is a mystery fish. We had previosuly thought it was a pickled beat. Most of the staff speaks little to no English. Sometimes it makes it seem like you're bothering them. I will probably on be back if guests would like ramen. If not, I will make my own recipes at home.
MoreFresh and delicious. I had the spicy beef udon and enjoyed it.
Ladies there always courteous. Price reasonable. Location better service than others. Food always at correct temp. Clean environment. No long wait..Great for blue color workers looking for quick 30m break. Great to hang with friends as well.
MoreWide selection of options and great food! Service was excellent
I find this to be my favorite spot to eat ramen at. I would highly recommend staying here to eat the ramen, as that is when it is the most fresh. The music they play is very nice, the staff is friendly, and the prices are great. Can't recommend enough.
MoreDine in or carry out - food comes out to you fresh and fast! My personal favorite is the beef curry ramen! The prices are great and excellent service. I'd recommend this place to anyone.
MoreBest kimchi Raman I've had. Great food, generous portions, beautifully presented. 🖒❤
MoreGreat portions, the servers are awesome for not being too clingy or crowding you every few seconds they do their job and they're quick. The food comes out pretty fast even when it's busy . The only reason I have a hard time coming back as often as I used to is because they're terribly unclean. Don't watch them prep your food through the little window. The cooks and the staff don't wear gloves between touching money, handling dirty dishes, utensils, or anything . The cooks don't wear gloves in the back and you see them do some normal human stuff like touch their face or pick at stuff or whatever but then they don't wash their hands when they go back to handling food . It's kinda gross AF.
MoreI must ended up here at least a couple of times every month, great choices, food and service as well. Spicy beer ramen, gyozas and shrimp fried rice are my favorites to order from here. The curry is a pretty choice as well, my people's always get it.
MoreProbably my most favorite ramen place in this island. Good price and friendly service.
MoreDaiichi is the best Ramen shop on the windward side of Oahu. They make the best Mano Tofu Ramen on island. The staff is friendly and the service excellent. The waitress comes by several to make sure our water is filled and everything is okay.
MoreIf you're looking for generous portions, you can't go wrong here. Even their "mini" fried rice was enough to satisfy friends with lighter appetites. The ramen broth is good, but not amazing, but the amounts of fixings you get makes up for it. The Super Bowl ramen isn't likely to be finished by any but the biggest of appetites. The menu variety is great, with several ramen and plate lunch options available, not mention free gyoza during happy hour. The service is also friendly and accommodating.Overall, it won't give you best ramen experience around, but if you're in the mood for some reasonably priced Japanese style food, I'd highly recommend it.
MoreFirst place we have ever taken family when we visit. We go multiple times. Have always been loyal to our wallets in the 4 years we have been on island. Great service, super friendly. And they have your food out in the blink of an eye. Quick to help you with leftovers and the portions can have you eating for days. We can not wait to come back!
MoreGreat food, great prices. I ordered the lunch special and chose miso udon and calamari. The portions we're large and I didn't finish the udon. The calamari was cooked nicely and the squid stayed soft. Water is free, drinks are in cans only. Will definitely be going again.
MoreWhile little know, this corner ramen restaurant packs a punch in flavor and value!
MoreGood and better than expected
I love their food and price. Be aware that their salads have mango on them.
Had a great experience here. Service was really quick, food came out in about 5 minutes. It was all delicious - the noodles, the broth (especially tonkatsu), and the sides. Definitely try Gyoza, they were my favorite, homemade and bursting with fresh ginger. It was also really affordable - the combo gives you a huge meal for $12. Check it out!
MoreThis place was clean and welcoming. The servers were very attentive and polite. The food was even better. It came quick and tasted delicious. The only thing I didn’t like was where they had us seated which was toward the back and was pretty cramped.
MoreSO YUMMY!!!😜🍜🍱🍛Had the combo which includes 1 soup + 2 mini entrees: I had shoyu udon with green onion and lots of garlic (because I have a seafood allergy, no seaweed or fishcake for me) and chicken katsu, and gyoza. My husband had the Tan Tan Ramen; rich flavorful broth with an egg, seaweed, fishcake and other goodies..Service is warm & friendly, very clean restaurant and even though plenty of people there during lunchtime our food was prompt and nice and hot! 2 thumbs up for this place indeed!👍🏽👍🏽
MorePhone orders are ready fast. Tasty. Lots of food.
I'm not a fan of Daiichi. Not that there food is bad but more like the place doesn't invoke excitement. There's no feeling of glee when I think of eating there. There menu does not offer enough flavor variety, again the food quality is not bad (their fried rice is delicious 5 star quality), but rather it's just boring. The service is subpar it always feels as if the waitresses are rude (I use "feel" loosely because I'm sure in their minds they don't believe they are rude). Just get the rice to go and eat store bought ramen.
MoreFantastic Ramen, need one back home.
Service was satisfying. As for the ramen the soup was to sweet. Yuk
Lots of choices on styles of Ramens. It's a great value with lots of tasty food. I recommend the combos they offer.
MoreFood is good. Ordered a Shrimp with crispy noodles, too much gravy so no crispy noodles. Servers lack aloha.
MoreCan only speak for the takeout curry veggie ramen and the miso ramen, they left a lot to be desired, very bland. They do have a lot more on the menu than just Ramen so hopefully that's better!
MoreI always enjoy the food and service. Been patronizing this establishment since it opened.
MoreThe only place I'll eat curry is here and my sisters, unless yall recommend any other places. But the curry here is bomb! Great prices for big plates! And their noodles is so yummy too! My daughters love eating their ramen and hubby loves their spicy ramen. Big bowls, good prices! And the service was super fast and very nice especially when my baby was having a fit. We go here and the one in Pearl city by Walmart. Especially when we sick, this is our go to place. So yummy!
MoreEnjoyed a ramen dish. Served super quick tasty and fairly priced. Highly recommended.
MoreVery very nice restaurant, just wish the workers understood English a little better
MoreAwesome place to eat! They have everything ramen and more. Best fried rice ever, and I make fantastic fried rice and yet theirs is better! Less than $30 every time, and very filling.
MoreGood fast service. Sometimes the atmosphere is a bit off, music genera bot what you might think. So far miner problems with food. But from what I can tell they fix any problems if you bring it up.
MoreCheap curry and ramen. If you like CoCo's from Oki this is kinda like that.
Love this place. Good food, fast and friendly.
A pretty good place. They do ramen very well. a nice staple in the area with friendly staff. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
MoreFood is always good, service is great and fast.
The worst thing about this ramen was the bamboo shoots. In Japan, they use "Menma" (Seasoned Bamboo Shoots). I love Menma. I do not enjoy plain ol bamboo shoots out of the can into my Tonkotsu Ramen! The soup was bland, but somehow very white. I am curious how.The noodles were cooked good, and plentiful. The egg had no flavor and it was cooked well done.Meat was tough and salty. If not for the bamboo shoots, I would have given 3 stars.
MoreGreat ramen for unreal deals. During happy hour they offer free order of gyoza to your order and the also have cheap combos which if paired together can get you 4 dishes for around $10. The service is friendly and waitresses always nearby. Food is also brought by very fast usually around 5 to 10 minutes and food is always hot. Highly recommend eating here.
MoreOne of my favorite places to eat lunch. Good prices and good portions!
Quite tasty, lots of food and attentive service!
- could not communicate in English sufficiently with waitress- “Japanese” place; Chinese run- Very cheap vegetable oil used; not the best for after effect...- had “pork” fried rice; might as well have named it fried rice (with suitable disclaimer as above “beware cheap oil”)- unfriendly attitude. It was clear when I asked for gluten free options, after we spent minutes debating whether udon noodles was wheat based (typical), I noted the waitress laughing away to her friend cooking meal. Cheap thrills, low wit, quintessential combo. Only saying, might pay to spend more time learning about gluten free and respecting others choices, as well as work on your English as opposed to rabbiting on in mandarin (having lived in China it was clear what language this “Japanese” shop was speaking).Overall wasn’t the best 20 mins of my life spent, service and product wise. I rounded up the $10.73 to $11. Think the lack of tip will hopefully be understood better than the English.
MoreSuper upset. I loved this place, I mean RAVED about this place... spicy beef ramen, WAS so amazing. Until we found a dead cockroach in our food. Will never eat there again.
MoreEh, lol. Decent fast food place for ramen, but not the best customer service. :)
